Edward J. Wiseman is a thirty-three year old classical guitarist and composer born in Providence, Rhode Island. He grew up in North Attleboro, Massachusetts, and is now in Cambridge pursuing prestigious music education. He is capable in a wide variety of genres and his style is a blend of various techniques he learned from each. However, Edward has a singular vision for his own original music.

Once a punk and songwriter, Edward now aims to make a serious contribution to the world of Western Classical music with guitar composition. His musical influences are a broad spectrum. However, his primary interest is late 80's, 90's, midwest emo, math rock. The way these styles have evolved and sound fascinates him. Now, with some classical education, he is also heavily inspired by Bach, the impressionist composers of the 20th century, and guitarists who were also inspired by them.

Edward's goal as he navigates his music education is to learn how all these styles work, and find a way to blend them for something never before heard in Western Classical music, or on the classical guitar. While he doesn't have much time to compose or perform during his studies, that will change after he has greatly evolved as a musician from his education.
